New Delhi, Jan. 8 -- A delegation of residents from Delhi's rural belt on Thursday met Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva and MCD Mayor Sardar Raja Iqbal Singh at the party's state unit office and submitted a memorandum seeking house tax waiver in Lal Dora areas of the national capital's villages.
Sachdeva urged the Mayor to take a positive decision on the matter at the earliest and emphasised that a clear relief policy be formulated at the municipal level to provide relief to the rural residents, so that long-standing confusion and dissatisfaction can be put to rest.
