Beed, Oct. 12 -- Unidentified individuals allegedly desecrated a Lakshmi temple in Maharashtra's Beed city yesterday morning, leading to an immediate police response and the reinforcement of security across the locality, police said today.
The incident occurred in the Mominpura area near the GN Function Hall. Preliminary reports suggest that attempts were also made to damage stones at one of the samadhis (memorial shrines) located in the vicinity.
