Lucknow, Oct. 9 -- Lakhimpur Kheri has topped the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) rankings for September in Uttar Pradesh, followed by Balrampur in second place and Bareilly in third.

The IGRS, a key instrument of the Yogi Adityanath government's transparent governance vision, continuously monitors public hearings, welfare schemes, and revenue-related activities across the state.

The system evaluates 109 programmes from 49 departments across all districts based on various parameters.

According to the September IGRS report, Lakhimpur Kheri achieved 134 points out of a possible 140. The district secured a 95.71 percent grievance resolution rate, the highest in the state.
