Kolkata, May 6 -- About 40 schools across the city and some from outskirt are expected to take part in the 50th edition of All India Invitational Schools Regatta to be held at picturesque Rabindra Sarobar course in south Kolkata from May 11-17 The 7-day rowing, being organised by the Lake Club is the only venue where the young and budding rowers hone the skill for excellence in the water sport with logistical and training support for a fee of Rs 1 per month, a unique of its kind which is beyond reach for any individual, one of the organisers said while preparing the contestants for the events in pairs and fours.
