Srinagar, Jan. 6 -- Jammu and Kashmir Minister Javed Rana on Tuesday said the day is not far when Ladakh will once again become a part of a united Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that the Government of India has no other alternative. Rana was responding to a query from a reporter regarding senior BJP leader and former minister Sham Lal Sharma's demand for a separate state for the Jammu region.
The Minister said Jammu and Kashmir was once a full-fledged state that was broken into pieces, comparing it to a heart shattered into a thousand fragments. "Some parts went here, some went there. Even the boundary of our state once extended up to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa," he said.
