Leh, April 8 -- In a major relief for residents of border areas in Ladakh, Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has approved age relaxation for candidates for the upcoming recruitment of 34 Sub-Inspector posts in the Ladakh Police.
The move is expected to benefit aspirants from remote and sensitive regions adjoining the Actual Line of Control (ALC), who often face unique challenges in accessing opportunities.
A spokesman of LG Ladakh, said that with this decision, the aspiring candidates belonging to areas adjoining ALC will get the age relaxation of 5 2 years (5 years for ALC 2 years general relaxation).
