Ranchi, Dec. 26 -- RJD spokesperson and Central president of the Jharkhand OBC Reservation Forum Kailash Yadav on Thursday expressed serious concern over the absence of 27 per cent reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) in the state, stating that it has resulted in significant losses for backward and Scheduled Caste communities in urban local body elections and government employment.

Yadav said at the time of Jharkhand's formation on November 15, 2000, reservation for ST, SC and OBC communities stood at 50 per cent, with 27 percent for OBCs, 15 percent for Scheduled Castes and 7.5 per cent for Scheduled Tribes.
