Gangtok, Sept. 7 -- In North Sikkim, the Superintendent of Police, Mangan district has announced that permits for travel to Lachung will commence from Monday onwards.

These permits will be issued exclusively for the destinations of Lachung, Yumthang Valley, and Zero Point, catering to both domestic and foreign tourists.

To visit these areas, travelers must obtain the necessary permits. Indian nationals are required to present a valid voter ID, passport, or driving license, along with two passport-sized photographs.

For foreign nationals, a Protected Area Permit (PAP) is mandatory, which can be obtained from the Tourism Office in Gangtok, the District Administrative Center in Mangan, or the Sub-Divisional Magistrate's Office in Chungthang...
