Ratnagiri, July 26 -- A labourer working in the Vinati Organic company in Lote MIDC of Ratnagiri, was killed today in an explosion which led to break out fire in company.
According to police, an explosion occurred at the Vinati Organic company this evening, which lead to a big fire. In this incident a labourer, who identified as Sameer Khedekar of Ghanekunt village near Lote, was killed on the spot.
After receiving the information, Lote police and fire-brigade personnel rushed to the spot to contain the fire.
Meanwhile, police are also investigating whether security protocols were followed by the company owners.
