Lucknow, May 16 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that workers and industrialists complement each other and are not rivals and industrial growth in the state is possible only when labour laws are balanced from both pro-industry and pro-labour perspectives.
During a review meeting of the Labour and Employment Department, the CM directed the officials to simplify labour laws so that they make it easier for industries to operate, while also ensuring that workers are not exploited or treated unfairly. "To achieve the goal of 'Har haath ko kaam', it is essential to strengthen industries. Shutting down industries won't generate jobs, instead, expanding them is the key to creating more employment opportunities," he said.
