Solan, Dec. 28 -- Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Chamba, has brought laurels to Himachal Pradesh by bagging two prestigious awards at the Annual Zonal Workshop-2025 of (ICAR-ATARI), Zone-I.
KVK Chamba was adjudged the Best Institution for Social Media Outreach among 72 KVKs of Zone-I, which includes centres from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The award recognises KVK Chamba's effective use of digital platforms to disseminate timely weather advisories, scientific farm practices, crop protection measures and information on government schemes, thereby strengthening farmer connect.
