Chennai, Feb. 27 -- The Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) inaugurated six new branches in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.

Of the six new branches, five were opened in Tamil Nadu.

These branches will offer a comprehensive range of banking services like accounts, deposits and loans including savings and current accounts etc., a KVB release here said.

During the financial year 2024-25, KVB added 35 branches and the Bank now has a total of 877 branches.

The five new branches that were opened in Tamil Nadu today included Salem (Cherry Road), Tiruvallur (Manavala Nagar), Trichy (Melachinthamani), Chennai (Chitlapakkam) and Tiruppur (Neruperichal).

The other branch was inaugurated at Proddatur in Andhra Pradesh, it said.
