Thrissur, July 30 -- An international festival dedicated to Kutiyattam, the ancient Sanskrit theater tradition, has begun at Kerala Kalamandalam, a deemed University for Art and Culture.
This five-day event marks 60 years since Kutiyattam was formally integrated into the institution, celebrating its enduring legacy and academic evolution within a public setting.
The festival that began on July 29 will continue till August 2 at Kalamandalam's Cheruthuruthy campus in Thrissur which draws together practitioners, scholars, and enthusiasts from around the globe.
