Sheopur (MP), Dec. 22 -- Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park is becoming a principal attraction not only due to its cheetahs but also for nature lovers and those fond of tourism.
Dense forests, high hills and plateaus, grasslands plus other nature spots and the thrilling cheetah safari make it a unique vacation experience. The Kuno River, believed to be a lifeline for the Park, is akin to a backbone for the entire area.
The river divides the Park into two and drains into the Chambal. As this area is considered part of Chambal region, there was a time when stories of dacoits and rebels were prevalent. But now Project Cheetah has lent a new and positive identity to Kuno.
