Bengaluru, Nov. 11 -- Former India captain and legendary leg-spinner Anil Kumble on Tuesday expressed his deep emotional connection with Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium, describing it as his "home and temple," while stressing the need to revive Karnataka's cricketing glory and create more opportunities for youngsters.

Speaking at the launch of Team Game Changers, which includes former cricketers Venkatesh Prasad, Javagal Srinath, and Shanta Rangaswamy ahead of the upcoming KSCA elections, Kumble said he was happy to see India's recent cricketing success but disappointed that no Karnataka women's player currently features in the national team.
