Washington, Jan. 27 -- Kumail Nanjiani has been announced as the host of the 78th annual Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards, the guild revealed on Monday, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.
The prestigious awards ceremony will take place on February 7 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
An Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy nominee, Nanjiani is a writer, actor and comedian best known for projects such as The Big Sick, Silicon Valley, Eternals and Only Murders in the Building. He recently released a stand-up special titled 'Kumail Nanjiani: Night Thoughts'.
