Guwahati, Dec. 3 -- Kuldeep Singh, DIG, has assumed charge as Inspector General of the Border Security Force, Guwahati Frontier, a statement issued by the force said on Wednesday.

He has succeeded Sukhdev Raj, who has been posted to the Western Command in Chandigarh.

A 1990 batch direct entry officer of the BSF cadre, who embarked upon his journey as Assistant Commandant, Kuldeep Singh is an officer with 35 years of distinguished service.

Singh IG (Designate) brings extensive field, staff, and instructional experience, including key tenures with the NSG and the UN Mission in Kosovo.
