Hyderabad, Aug. 10 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) today highlighted the efforts of the previous former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) government in expanding the IT sector to Tier-2 towns across Telangana and urged the Congress government to carry forward the initiative.

In a post on X, KTR said the BRS government had established IT hubs in Nalgonda, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Khammam and Siddipet, with Adilabad now joining the list.

"The main objective of these IT hubs is to provide the required facilities for small and medium IT companies, promote startups, and offer skill training to youth through TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge) centers," he said.
