Hyderabad, July 15 -- BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) has expressed deep anguish over the alarming rise in food poisoning incidents and student deaths in Telangana's Gurukula residential schools.
In a statement here today, he blamed the state government's criminal negligence, claiming over a thousand such cases in the past year alone, resulting in the tragic deaths of more than 100 students.
KTR demanded that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy take full responsibility for the situation. He condemned the government's failure to even conduct a single review on the issue, calling it a shocking example of inhuman and authoritarian governance.
