Hyderabad, July 16 -- BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led Telangana government for the acute water shortage being faced by the people of the state for household and irrigation purposes, despite the government not diligently utilizing the resources or the overflowing waters of the Krishna and Godavari rivers.

Taking to X, KTR expressed concern over the acute water scarcity faced by both urban and rural populations. "Yesterday, every household had tap water. Today, people are crying due to the lack of drinking and irrigation water," he wrote.
