Nagar Kurnool, Dec. 28 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the Congress government and Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy, accusing them of reversing development in the Palamuru region and forcing renewed migration.
Addressing a felicitation programme for newly elected sarpanches at the BRS office here, KTR alleged that key irrigation and development works completed during the tenure of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao were stalled after the Congress came to power.
He claimed nearly 90 per cent of the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project was completed earlier, but the present government cancelled tenders and crippled the project, adversely affecting farmers....
