Hyderabad, Oct. 29 -- BRS Working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress government, accusing it of neglecting farmers, women, and youth.
Addressing at the Munnur Kapu Atmiya Sammelan held at Telangana Bhavan, here, KTR said the state's current condition resembled a scene from the film Ahana Pellanta, describing government schemes as hollow and misleading.
He alleged that the Congress had failed to keep its promises on employment, farm subsidies, and support to women, and claimed that "farmers have no bonus, no investment aid, no seeds or fertiliser."KTR said job aspirants and women beneficiaries had been deceived, with two lakh jobs still unfilled and welfare schemes poorly implemented.
