Hyderabad, Feb. 11 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Wednesday strongly criticised the ruling Congress party, alleging large-scale anarchy and atrocities during the municipal elections in Telangana.
In a statement, KTR congratulated BRS activists who, he said, fought "heroically" and organised protest marches despite obstacles, intimidation and alleged inducements by the ruling party. He praised the fighting spirit of BRS cadres, popularly known as the "pink soldiers," from Adilabad to Alampur, saying their resilience had given the party renewed strength and confidence.
