Hyderabad, Aug. 18 -- BRS Working President and former Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, accusing it of incompetence and negligence that is forcing major industries to leave Telangana for other states.
In a statement here on Monday, he expressed anguish over Kaynes Technology, a semiconductor company that had committed an investment of Rs 2,800 crore with the promise of creating 2,000 jobs during the BRS regime, shifting its project to Gujarat.
KTR recalled that it was his government which convinced Kaynes to invest in Telangana despite its initial plans to set up in Karnataka.
