Hyderabad, July 8 -- In a sharp political showdown, BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) lashed out at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for skipping an open debate on farmers' issues - one that the CM himself had publicly proposed.

KTR arrived at the Somajiguda Press Club on Tuesday, prepared with data and documents, but the Chief Minister was a no-show, reportedly travelling to Delhi.

Speaking to the media after waiting nearly 30 minutes, KTR accused Revanth of "running away from his own challenge" and failing to answer for the ongoing agrarian crisis.

He alleged that over 600 farmers had died by suicide under the Congress government and that none of the six guarantees promised within 100 days had been fulfilled even after 18 months. KTR...
