Nagarkurnool, Sept. 28 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accusing him of "hiding at home like a cat" while the Karnataka Congress government moves ahead with its plan to raise the height of the Almatti Dam.
Addressing a massive "Jana Garjana" public meeting in Achampet in Nagarkurnool on Sunday, KTR warned that increasing Almatti's height by five metres would deprive Telangana and Andhra Pradesh of Krishna waters. He alleged that Revanth was keeping silent to safeguard his chair and demanded that he summon the Karnataka CM and involve Rahul Gandhi to stop the project.
