Karimnagar, March 23 -- BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) asserted that the party remains strong in Karimnagar, emphasising its deep-rooted connection with KCR.

Speaking at a BRS workers' meeting, he recalled that Karimnagar played a crucial role in the Telangana movement, citing KCR's 2001 Simhagarjana public meeting as a turning point.

He highlighted how the region has historically supported KCR, even when he resigned from Parliament in protest against Congress's stance on Telangana.

KTR criticised the ruling Congress government, accusing it of failing farmers and the unemployed.
