Hyderabad, Nov. 26 -- BRS Working President KT Rama Rao on Wednesday held a preparatory meeting with party leaders and activists from Warangal and Hanmakonda districts in view of the upcoming Deeksha Diwas observance scheduled for November 29.
On the occasion of Constitution Day, KTR paid floral tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar's portrait, recalling his contribution to the nation and its democratic framework.
Addressing the gathering, KTR said Deeksha Diwas marks a turning point in Telangana's movement and reminded that it was the day when the slogan "Telangana Vachudo- KCR Sachudo" erupted across the state, sparking an emotional wave led by KCR's fast.
