Hyderabad, May 21 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) facilitated the release of six men from Telangana who were jailed in Malaysia under arms-related charges.
The men, from Lingapur and Munyal villages in Nizamabad district, had travelled abroad in search of employment but were arrested due to a lack of awareness of local laws.
Acting on KTR's directive, Khanapur in-charge Bhukya Johnson Naik personally visited Malaysia twice, arranged legal aid, paid court fines, and ensured the safe return of the men to India. The rescued individuals - Rachakonda Naresh, Talari Bhaskar, Gurujala Shankar, Gurijala Rajeshwar, Gunda Srinivas, and Yamunoori Ravinder - met KTR in Hyderabad today and expressed their heartfelt gratitude.
