Jaipur/Hyderabad, July 20 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) today made a strong pitch for equitable political representation for South Indian states, warning that unchecked centralisation of power and resources in the Hindi-speaking states were posing serious threat to India's federal fabric.

In a thought-provoking conversation on the topic "The North-South Divide in Indian Politics" at the 9th edition of Talk Journalism in Jaipur event, KTR emphasised that parliamentary representation must not be dictated by population figures alone.
