Hyderabad, Sept. 26 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao today accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of driving infrastructure giant L&T out of the Hyderabad Metro project due to "personal vendetta, arrogance, and dictatorial tendencies."He said the government's decision had saddled Telangana with an additional debt burden of Rs 15,000 crore overnight.

Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, KTR alleged that the dispute stemmed from L&T's willingness to repair the Medigadda barrage at its own expense, which he claimed thwarted the Chief Minister's attempt to brand the Kaleshwaram project as a "failure." From then on, he said, the company was systematically harassed until it was forced to withdraw.
