Hyderabad, May 12 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) expressed deep sorrow over the death of a farmer, Gugulothu Kishan (51), who reportedly died of heatstroke while waiting at a crop procurement centre in Pochampally village, Pedda Wangara mandal of Mahabubabad district.

Condemning the incident, KTR held the Congress government and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directly responsible. "While the Chief Minister is busy attending beauty pageants, a farmer has died on top of grain heaps due to negligence. This is not just mismanagement-this is murder," he said in a statement here on Monday.
