Hyderabad, Aug. 21 -- BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) has accused the Congress government of preparing to "plunder" public funds in the name of the Musi River purification and beautification project.
Addressing the media on Thursday, KTR said that while the previous BRS government under K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) had laid the groundwork with a master plan and a Detailed Project Report (DPR) worth Rs 16,000 crore, the Congress government has allegedly inflated the estimates to an "astounding" Rs 1,50,000 crore. He warned that the BRS would expose and resist this "plunder of public money."
