Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accusing him and the Congress party of deceiving Backward Classes (BCs) and running the government in a theatrical fashion.
Addressing party workers at Telangana Bhavan after welcoming new leaders from the Parigi constituency into BRS, KTR said the Congress had backtracked on its promise of 42 per cent BC reservation, made with much fanfare before the elections.
He questioned the Chief Minister's latest remark that BC reservations would only be possible if Rahul Gandhi became Prime Minister, asking if such a condition was ever mentioned in the 'BC Declaration'.
