Hyderabad, March 10 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) has accused Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of orchestrating a massive Transferable Development Rights (TDR) scam worth thousands of crores.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy, along with four real estate brokers, is manipulating the TDR system for financial gain.
KTR claimed that these brokers, under the Chief Minister's influence, are acquiring TDRs at low prices while planning to impose Floor Space Index (FSI) restrictions in Hyderabad to artificially drive up demand. Once the market value soars, they intend to sell the TDRs at inflated rates, making illicit profits.
