Hyderabad, July 5 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithin (BRS) Working President K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) has thrown down the gauntlet to Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accepting his challenge for a debate on what each government has done for farmers.

Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday, KTR said he is ready for an open discussion and has given Revanth Reddy 72 hours of preparation time.

"Let him choose the place, date, and time. I'm ready," KTR said, adding that the Chief Minister lacks basic knowledge about agriculture and farmers' issues. "To ensure he doesn't end up insulting crops like okra and basins, I'm giving him three full days to prepare," he remarked sarcastically.
