Bengaluru, Oct. 7 -- The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has ordered the shutdown of the Bigg Boss Kannada studio over non-compliance with environmental regulations.
Addressing the matter, KSPCB Member Secretary SS Lingaraju said, "The board does not recognise any Bigg Boss entity on the premises. The actual occupier is the 'Well Studio', which does not have the mandatory consent for operation under the Air Act and Water Act."He added that the closure was issued due to multiple violations, including the operation of an amusement park, hotel rooms, a sewage treatment plant of 250 KLD that is non-functional, and inadequate solid waste management practices.
