Bengaluru, Aug. 14 -- The Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) today expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Dr Vece Paes, the celebrated midfielder from the golden era of Indian hockey, who was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Dr Paes, who was 80, passed away in Kolkata today morning after a brief illness.
