Bengaluru, July 28 -- The Karnataka State Commission for Women (KSCW) today urged the Bengaluru City Police to initiate immediate action against individuals posting violent and derogatory messages online targeting actor-turned-politician Ramya. The abuse reportedly came in response to Ramya's public support for the Supreme Court's intervention in the Renukaswamy murder case, where popular Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa is an accused. In an official communication addressed to the city's police commissioner, KSCW Chairperson Dr Nagalakshmi Chowdhary condemned the online threats and stated, "This is affecting the dignity of women.
