Bengaluru, June 6 -- A senior Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) member Choodie Shivram on Friday lauded the courageous efforts of the KSCA staff while raising concerns over crowd control and the lack of emergency preparedness in connection with the stampede outside the Chinnaswamy stadium that left 11 dead and 56 injured two days back.

The tragedy occurred ahead of IPL champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) victory celebrations.

Recounting her experience at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Shivram said the initial disturbance seemed minor.
