Bengaluru, Aug. 20 -- Former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad, who is contesting the upcoming Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) elections, and cricket administrator Mruthyunjay today said spectator safety will be their top priority, and vowed to fully act on recommendations of the judicial commission probing the recent Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede.

Prasad described the tragedy as "unfortunate" but stressed that it would be inappropriate to comment while investigation was on.

"Once the judicial commission's report is made public, we will implement every single recommendation. In addition, we will commission an independent safety audit to ensure there is no compromise on fan safety," he told reporters in a press conference.
