Hyderabad, Sept. 10 -- Rajya Sabha member and National Backward Class Association President R Krishnaiah has urged the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) and the state government to immediately implement the High Court's verdict on Group-1 services, while also calling for a judicial inquiry into the irregularities flagged by the court.

In a statement here on Wednesday, he said the High Court had exposed serious lapses in evaluation and confirmed that irregularities occurred. Highlighting disparities, Krishnaiah noted that out of 8,694 Telugu-medium candidates only 56 were selected, compared to 506 from 12,381 English-medium candidates.
