Moscow, July 30 -- Russia has been living under Western sanctions for a long time and forced to operate under extensive restrictions, but has still been more than able to make its economy work, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, adding that Moscow has developed degree of resilience to Western sanctions.
"We have been living under a huge number of sanctions for quite a long time. Our economy operates under a huge number of restrictions. Therefore, of course, we have already developed a certain immunity to this," Peskov told reporters, reports TASS.
