Chennai, March 7 -- A Mahila Court in Coimbatore on Saturday awarded life long jail term to the three accused in the sensationalgang rape of a college student near the Intermational airport in November 2025.
Delivering the verdict in the case, Judge (in-charge) V Sundararaj said the prosecution has proved the case beyond doubt andalso announced a compensation to the tune of Rs seven lakh to the victim.
After finding them guilty and convicting them, the Judge pronounced the quantum of punishment an hour later, awarding jail term till their life.
