Mumbai, March 19 -- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday announced in the Maharashtra Legislative Council that the Konkan Railway Corporation will be merged with Indian Railways as per the central government's proposal to solve the problem of shortage of funds for future projects. While replying to a query raised by member Praveen Darekar in the upper house regarding the Konkan Railway Corporation, he informed that the Konkan Railway Corporation was established with the cooperation of four states namely Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Kerala.
