Kolkata, Dec. 25 -- Kolkata woke up to a sharp chill on Christmas morning as the minimum temperature dropped to 13.7 degrees Celsius, marking the coldest day of the season so far.

The mercury fell suddenly into the 13-degree range, bringing a clear winter feel across the city.
