Kolkata, Dec. 22 -- Colour, music and protest came together on city's streets today as the Kolkata Rainbow Pride Walk 2025 unfolded with slogans demanding a free Palestine and opposing the SIR (Special Intensive Revision) dominated the march.
Marking 26 years of Kolkata's queer movement on the streets, the march began at Jatin Moitra Park near Girish Park metro station, moved along Ganesh Chandra Avenue and Chittaranjan Avenue and concluded at Esplanade Y channel. Thousands joined like queer, trans people, activists and curious passers-by, turning busy roads into a space filled with flags, chants and conversations.
