Kolkata, Dec. 27 -- Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port in Kolkata has received its share of profit of Rs 5.94 crore from Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) as a joint collaboration between the maritime institutions in ship building and shop repairing in India.
SPMK chairman Rathendra Raman, who visited the Ship Repair Facility of Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) at Cochin to explore deeper collaboration between the two maritime institutions, received the cheque from the profit they made this year for ship building and repairing of the vessels.
The joint venture, established between SMPK and CSL inn 2019, has emerged as a significant contributor to strengthening ship repair capabilities on the eastern coast.
