Kolkata, Aug. 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today mounted a multi-pronged attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), accusing the ruling party of turning the state into a hub of "crime and corruption," siding with infiltrators, and obstructing its development.

Addressing a rally at the historic Dum Dum Central Jail ground here, Modi asserted that Bengal's "real progress" would only come once the BJP is voted to power.
