Beed, Oct. 18 -- Members of the tribal Koli community from the Manjelgaon constituency in Beed district have entered the sixth day of their hunger strike, pressing for the issuance of caste certificates.
Dozens of individuals representing the Tokre Koli, Mahadev Koli, Malhar Koli, and Dhor Koli communities are participating in the protest to highlight what they describe as their constitutional and long-pending demand.
According to sources familiar with the situation, no administrative officer has visited the protest site despite the hunger strike entering its sixth day.
